Fat Awesome Gay Girls Operating Trucks Lyrics by Janice Dudley

REPUBLICUNT

2023

[Verse 1: Janice Dudley]
I was raised on a big ol' barn down in Alabama
I loved my chickens, my cattle, my sheep
And of course, my grandma
I was wild at heart, so I rode like a horse
But it never felt right
Then one day I realized
A lady and a truck is what I need to really thrive
[Chorus: Janice Dudley]
Shoutout to all of the gay girls
That drive a big pickup truck
Shoutout to all of the fat girls
Who eat a bunch and don't give no fucks
Shoutout to all of the drag queens
That get down to Mrs. Dolly Parton
Shoutout to Vick Reputation
'Cause you know she be shittin' and fartin'
Shoutout the chickens in the closet
Not the ones that Azealia cooked
But the ones still unsure who they are
I promise you're not overlooked
Shoutout to those who accept me
As the fat awesome gay girl I am
And shoutout to my pickup
For this adventure through Rainbowland
[Verse 2: Janice Dudley]
I was fifteen
When I thought I met the boy of my dreams
He was kind and caring
I thought maybe he would be the one for me
But we didn’t last, and now I know why
'Cause I figured me out
It took me a while
But a few years later, I finally came out
I was nineteen
When I decided to leave to California
I told my grandma who I really was
I said, "I should've warned ya."
She said, "It’s okay, you can be who you are,"
"I love ya anyways."
"Now go live your life to the fullest with pride,"
"No more hiding away!"
[Chorus: Janice Dudley]
Shoutout to all of the gay girls
That drive a big pickup truck
Shoutout to all of the fat girls
Who eat a bunch and don't give no fucks
Shoutout to all of the drag queens
That get down to Mrs. Dolly Parton
Shoutout to Vick Reputation
'Cause you know she be shittin' and fartin'
Shoutout the chickens in the closet
Not the ones that Azealia cooked
But the ones still unsure who they are
I promise you're not overlooked
Shoutout to those who accept me
As the fat awesome gay girl I am
And shoutout to my pickup
For this adventure through Rainbowland
[Chorus: Maple Sugar & Hunny]
Shoutout to all of the gay girls
That drive a big pickup truck
Shoutout to all of the fat girls
Who eat a bunch and don't give no fucks
Shoutout to all of the drag queens
That get down to Mrs. Dolly Parton
Shoutout to Vick Reputation
'Cause you know she be shittin' and fartin'
Shoutout the chickens in the closet
Not the ones that Azealia cooked
But the ones still unsure who they are
I promise you're not overlooked
Shoutout to those who accept me
As the fat awesome gay girl I am
And shoutout to my pickup
For this adventure through Rainbowland
