today i read the ending of chapter 1 in the book Buffy: The Vampire Slayer. while they are fighting the vampires this new guy with a cape, and lazer gun comes out of nowhere and helps them with killing the vampires. but when they finish fighting them the guy says " i shouldn't be here" and he ran away. In chapter 2, Buffy came home home and i found out that Buffy is a chosen vampire slayer, that is here job and her mom hates it. because, she hates seeing her daughter get hurt.

today read another book called "the narrative of Fredrick Douglass". Fredrick Douglass, was a slave in the south and he learned how to read and write by his slave owner's wife, after he was sold in an auction. Douglass, was a very smart man, he was the leader of his people. that the farthest i got in the book..

I read the middle of chapter 2 today, it focused on Buffy's past. I found out that Buffy and her family moved to that town, so they could start like a new life. Joyce(Buffy's Mom) had a divorce with her husband, the family has their own business too, I'm not sure what the business is, i haven't read that far yet. I also found out that Buffy was a troubled kid when they lived in their previous state. She would, run away a lot.

i read this book called "Black Boy", the author is Richard White. This book is about Richard Wright's childhood. All i read is that him and his bother was in their rooms and they have to keep quiet because their grandmother is very ill in the room next to them. Richard then starts to set stuff on fire to entertain his boredom. Then he decides to light the room curtains on fire. then the whole room gets set on fire because he let the flames go to high. Richard panics and goes outside under the house.

I read the Greek Creation Myth. i read that there was only chaos in the beginning of time, there was this guy named Uranus. He was the ruler at this time, his wife Gaea, and all his children hated him because, he was a horrible husband and father. so they plotted to destroy him, all of the children was scared except, Cronus. Cronus, destroyed his father and overthrew him. so he is now ruler. When he has children he eats all of them except Zeus, because she convinced Cronus to keep him.
