Holding On Lyrics by Mark Thompson, Knowa Lazarus

2019

Hook 1 :
I know that its wrong
But its hard for me to say no
But when I try to let go
You just keep Holding on
Verse 1 :
I wanna take
One more drink
Fill it up
cause I’ve been feeling like I’m gunna give up
I don’t give a fuck
Wishing that you were still here with me
These snake eyes got me on the edge
I’m jumping ship
And I’m just floating on the ocean
In this perfect storm I’m just trying to
Find my way home to you
Titanic yeah
All we do is drift away
And the hard truth is
you ain't coming back to me
Hook 1 :
I know that its wrong
but its hard for me to say no
But when I try to let go
You just keep Holding on
Hook 2 :
And ima try, ima try, ima try
As long as I’m alive, I’m alive, I’m alive
Yеs ima try, ima try, ima try
As long as I’m alive, I’m alive, I’m alive
Vеrse 2 :
Put it on me
Put it on me
Cause I’ve been hiding
Drinking all day
Running away
Just last week everything was gravy
Ain't nobody that can save me
I’ve been hard headed like a helmet
Fronting
Like hurt I never felt it
But I was just pretending
That’s real
And I’m so amazed that your cold now
For me to get to you I need a snow plow
Going soft
Tell me what do you hate me?
Its the final scene
Directors cut
Faded
yeah
Hook 1 :
I know that its wrong
But its hard for me to say no
But when I try to let go
You just keep Holding on
Hook 2 :
And ima try, ima try, ima try
As long as I’m alive, I’m alive, I’m alive
Yes ima try, ima try, ima try
As long as I’m alive, I’m alive, I’m alive
