The way Cassius can be described on his personal and political beliefs.

Cassius personally was based on his personal and political and political beliefs. “The fault dear Brutus isn’t in our stars, but in our self’s that were underling.” (DOC E) He believed that it’s not fault that made a lower ranking person. It shows Cassius beliefs that if he kills Caesar he can be a higher ranking person. “Cassius a man of a fierce disposition and one that out of private malice rather than love of the public head Caesar.” (DOC B) This proves that Cassius did this for selfish reasons and not because he cared about Rome or its gov’t. He killed Caesar because of jealousy. He thought he had too much power and is in a higher rank. This tells you that Cassius didn’t care about Rome or it gov’t.

The choices Cassius made because of hatred toward Caesar. “Write them together yours is as fair a name; sound them, it doth become the mouth as well.” (DOC E) This states that Caesar name is like anyone else’s so why is he special? This shows that Caesar believes that he is equal to Caesar. Cassius says his friends intended Caesar to be king. This proves Cassius will do anything to turn people against Caesar. Cassius believes that Caesar is equal to everyone else and he gets Brutus to kill Caesar, telling him Caesar is going to be king. Brutus hated Caesar because he had a lot of power. He got his friends that hate him. Brutus believed if he killed Caesar he can rule better than him.

Cassius gets Caesars friends to kill him so he can be the ruler and be better than Caesar.
