The Rising of the Son Lyrics by McKamey Legacy

McKamey Legacy

0

[Verse 1]
On that first Easter morning as the sun began to rise
Mary went to find Him, but she found to her surprise
The tomb where they had laid Him was just an empty grave
For the power that was in Him brought him up from the grave
[Verse 2]
Many of our loved ones, who've left a vacant place
Well, they will be there to greet us on that Resurrection Day
Well, there'll be a change sweep o'er me and I'll be called away
If He's a-coming in the morning down there at the break of day
[Chorus]
Over the horizon, look, friend, can't you see?
Is that the Son of God? Oh, He's coming back for me
The cry is getting louder even so Lord Jesus come
I can't help but get excited, it's the rising of the Son
Over the horizon, look, friend, can't you see?
Is that the Son of God? Oh, He's coming back for me
The cry is getting louder even so Lord Jesus come
I can't help but get excited, it's the rising of the Son
