Criminals Lyrics by MCskill ThaPreacha

NUCLEUS, Vol. 2

2019

VERSE ONE
Difficult times, I had to stop writing rhymes
Contemplated retirement too many times
Been on my grind, I stayed legit
But homeboys around the corner ain't having it, they press keys
They getting money with ease, you know that crime wins
Where I'm from, it doesn't matter cos that's the deal
I stay stuck in the booth tryna connect to the youth
The youth cut me loose, wanna enjoy the loot
They don't want the preaching, they don't wanna listen
They stay criminal minded, they not the victims
They get cheered on, these dudes ain't scared of the law
They gain freedom asap, it's all the part of the job
After incarceration, they learnt no lessons
They free men and the stans call em legends
Its a sham the society we live in
Justifying crime, we do that for a living
HOOK
Where I come from, a good man don't stand a chance
The criminals survive, yeah its troubled times (x4)
VERSE TWO
Sometimes I ask myself
Should I be a good man or a criminal too just to get the wealth?
Maybe I'm gonna go get on forbes list
Speaking conscious motivational quotes, constant
Amongst criminals, fake prophets
Say a prayer and never embrace this darkness
These fraudsters, they got no conscience, they pompous
Spend a couple mill to pop bottles, that's obnoxious
While they victims dying, they bankrupt
Even after making loads of cash, they can't stop
Proof they having fun, inflicting misery
A failed government? Yeah! But you evil B
Acquire skills just to pay the bills
This a PSA: Fuck these politicians too, they can suck my D
Another day, another scam
Criminals survive still, in my society they good men
HOOK
Where I come from, a good man don't stand a chance
The criminals survive, yeah its troubled times (x8)
