LA Lyrics by meg elsier

spittake

2024

If I moved to LA
I’d be suicidal
If I moved that far away
From where I grew as a child
I think I’d test my fate
Drive off the interstate
If I moved to LA
But left in a hurry
I could easily be replaced
By twenty girls just like me
I’d let them have my life
They could fix it up real nice
The east coast has weather
Yeah that’s what I know
I don’t trust December
Without snow or the cold
I don’t like the cars
How close people are
But they’re so far away
If I ever head west
I’ll put on a dress
And I’ll die in LA
If I move to LA
San Fernando Valley
Where the people always pay
So much to be unhappy
The hills are burning down
They’re hiding in the ground
The east coast has weather
Yeah that’s what I know
I don’t trust December
Without snow or the cold
I don’t like the cars
How close people are
But they’re so far away
If I ever head west
I’ll put on a dress
And I’ll die in LA
If I moved to LA
And my mother calls me
I haven’t heard from you for days
How come you make me worry
I hope that I don’t change
Into someone she didn’t raise
The east coast has weather
Yeah that’s what I know
I don’t trust December
Without snow or the cold
I don’t like the cars
How close people are
But they’re so far away
If I ever head west
I’ll put on a dress
And I’ll die in LA
