Towards the Sun Lyrics by MalefistuM

Enemy

2020

[Verse 1]
Rising from the fire and the ashes
Staring into fire's light again
Stumbling with my tears that fall to earth
I come back again
[Pre-Chorus]
I see my own life burning
Now it crashes
Hell arrived
This place is cursed and damned
Holding on to sadness fills my life
I come back again
[Chorus]
Toward the sun
Fly so high can touch the sky
Burning my wings
My pale skin's rotting
Burning down
Running in the light that might have been the power
Time stands still
Flying on the wings of my phoenix burning
Climb up that hill
[Verse 2]
Feeling no more sense inside my heart
My life has slowly turned into real death
Stumbling with my tears that fall to earth
I come back again
[Pre-Chorus]
I see my own life burning
Now it crashes
Hеll arrived
This place is cursed and damnеd
Holding on to sadness fills my life
I come back again
[Chorus]
Toward the sun
Fly so high can touch the sky
Burning my wings
My pale skin's rotting
Burning down
Running in the light that might have been the power
Time stands still
Flying on the wings of my phoenix burning
Climb up that hill
[Guitar Solo]
[Chorus]
Running in the light that might have been the power
Time stands still
Flying on the wings of my phoenix burning
Climb up that hill
Running in the light that might have been the power
Time stands still
Flying on the wings of my phoenix burning
Climb up that hill
[Outro]
Running in the light that might have been the power
Time stands still
