On My Last Lyrics by Jari$

Only Temporary

2021

[Chorus: MellyX]
I went through some troubles
I went through some hard times
I was down on my last
My Granny, she told me keep going
So I just kept going, forgot bout the past
And my niggas ain't trippin’, they had a lil' fallout
But fuck it it's back to the bag
[Post-Chorus: MellyX & Jari$]
.45 wit a fully loaded mag
Keep a Third Eye for the snakes in the grass
(Snakes in the grass)
They gon’ hate when they see you make change
(Hol' up, yeah)
Day ones startin' to act a lil' strange
[Verse: Jari$]
Day ones by my side, never strange
But if they actin' funny I'm watchin' from long range
Keep it all a hunnid, just know that we don't bang
And if we got it on us, never spray we gon aim
Let your brains hang, if you speakin’ out your neck
I never carry the Tec, still put you up in check
Live with no regret, I just do what I speak
Never sneak dissin’ all that shit is for the weak
Cause where I'm from that tuff talk ’ll make you leak (and)
Look homie I gotta keep it a buck
Gotta run it up, for the fans who don't know me
Everything a damn hit, bout the cheese like Coby
Told me, gotta push it on - gotta have faith and still remain strong
Cause everything you doin' is meant for you all along
Work in any city, not restricted from my home
But I - gotta flow with this and don't slip
Slidin’ with the squad, know we up in the mix
Never switch or settle gotta kill this instrumental
Pullin' strings like Geppetto and never flashin' the metal
And - just remember that everything is not for you
Take the criticism I won't ever con-sole you
I been - ten toes to the pavement
Said you don't respect me, what the fuck is you sayin'?
Hands like a switch, run up, and get flipped quick
Tried to downplay me but I really got a grip
Y'all too cocky, just gotta remain humble
The faster you earn somethin', the faster it's taken from you
This is, song eight - in five weeks to this date
I should do a daily drop but y'all ain't ready for that rate
Bitch -
[Chorus: MellyX & Jari$]
I went through some troubles
I went through some hard times
I was down on my last (Down on my last)
My Granny, she told me keep going
So I just kept going, forgot bout the past (Yeah, Uh)
And my niggas ain't trippin', they had a lil' fall out
But fuck it it's back to the bag
[Post-Chorus: MellyX & Jari$]
.45 wit a fully loaded mag
Keep a Third Eye for the snakes in the grass
(Snakes in the grass)
They gon' hate when they see you make change
Day ones startin' to act a lil' strange
