[Verse 1] I keep watering dead plants I perform CPR on stones Cause I don’t, oh I don’t, oh I don’t know how to let go Wish I would know but I don’t [Pre-Chorus] I bought fake plants cause I can’t take care of the real ones I got fake friends cause my mood is always way off I don’t make sense when I’m talking cause I’m so dumb Never learnt nothing, didn’t grow up with it [Chorus] Fake plants all over my room Consumed by plastic, don’t know what to do My mind drifts off but my body’s still with you Inanimate like the plants I live with [Verse 2] I don’t need anybody So fucking over it And when I’m done with, when I’m done with Yea, when I’m done with you you’re gonna need a bomb shelter Cause I’m gonna, cause I’m gonna, cause I’m gonna Leave your heart in a nuclear winter [Pre-Chorus] I bought fake plants cause I can’t take care of the real ones I got fake glasses cause my sight could be improved a lot I don’t make sense when I’m thinking cause I’m so done Done with it, can’t deal with this shit [Chorus] Fake plants all over my room Consumed by plastic, don’t know what to do My mind drifts off but my body’s still with you Inanimate like the plants I live with Drench me in water and I still won’t soak My leaves won’t fade cause they were made with moulds If I had all the money, probably still wouldn’t know The value of a living soul [Bridge] Flashback to the day that I threw them out Dried out soil, there was nothing I could do Put my money where my mouth is And replaced them with something new So shiny and perfect that you almost can’t believe it When you see their true colours, you won’t be able to unsee it So shiny and perfect that you can start to feel it When you see their true colours, you won’t be able to unsee it [Outro] Fake plants all over my room Consumed by plastic, don’t know what to do My mind drifts off but my body’s still with you Inanimate like the plants I live with Drench me in water and I still won’t soak My leaves won’t fade cause they were made with moulds If I had all the money, probably still wouldn’t know The value of a living soul
