Pursue My Dreams Lyrics by Mercy Great

2018

Verse 1
Now its back to spitting spectacular 1994 Acura
A misconstrued vernacular in Ethiopia Africa
Real n****s that know me, Spanish speaker that owe me
Grandpa ain't always been holy, I got Gansters, Rangers flowing
In my bloodstream n***a And them RPs n***a
Make My Heart beat quicker police car speed n***a
Get behind me I'm pushing it n****s hating thats pussy sh*t
About my bucks put my hoof in it doing things thats you wish could
In South Pheonix with bro 'nem I'm handsome yo b*tch noticed
Chicago we the coldest he owe us than we on him
Chicago flag wrapped around my bull tatted on my neck
Damn why you ain't got no money yet??? Why you ain't got a check???
Life steady going you grow older you should get it now
Dont wait until you almost 40 finally figure out
My broski went to prison in 06 now he been in and out
Last murder charge they hit him hard and he ain't getting out
Chorus
Cause I been thinking about a way to enter this rap wave Man Im going to pursue my dreams
Only thing I gotta say young n***a get paid and Im going to pursue my dreams
And everyday Im going pray that my exes change they ways and Im going to pursue my dreams
Man I do this everyday e ay I do this everyday and Im going to pursue my dreams
Verse 2
I was put up last year I was broke I was fucked up
You say you want some smoke baby run up nigga tough luck
Cause I be standing straight with this AK I'm with the murder gang
I lived in Murder Park where they murder shit nigga everyday
Im from the east side it's the best side you should come and visit
And when I speak street poetry real niggas listen
Young n*ggas come and light your block up it look like Christmas
Im outta Chiraq and when its wartime you can taste the tension
So Im smoking on the dope smoking on the dope just to maintain
I know a mother who lost both her sons baby in the same day
I smoked a blunt with her your son was nigga and they in a better place
I got too many to take care of so I gotta chase the bank
What it means to be a man turn your dreams into plans
I dont pop pills No but my bitches off the Xans
They just let me out the jam my bitch was tripping on the mans
It must be her hormornes but fuck it she gone and I'm glad (Ay)
Rolling up another gram (Ay) My homie just got out the can (Ay)
My other partner going in (Mane) A car crash killed my fam (Ay)
Long live my nigga Spazz (Yaye) We up im Denver doing dabs (Mane)
They and murdered all my friends (Ay) I can hear them in the wind Ay
