Calmdown Lyrics by Mid-R-Kay

MIDTAPE

2012

[Verse 1: Mid R Kay]
Eyes low and I'm shoppin' down on Prince
She said she love me I haven't seen dapper since
I walked by this girl I swear I a glimpse
Yeah, girl just say somethin' let me know you
Interested or even into my outfit
Uh, I fuck with music I'm really about it
Uh, smoke more than me I highly doubt it
Uh, get it I highly doubt it
Interviews feelin' more like conversations
The closer I get the more I get impatient
But I pace it, it's just life so I stay grounded
Talkin' 'bout her ass if I say she's well rounded
I played somethin' new, I ask her how that sound
She said I sound true, to never turn around
Girl that's what I do you needn't even tell me that
But I keep that to myself and turn her over yeah
[Hook: Mid R Kay] x3
Calm down and accept my arm around you
[Verse 2: Mid R Kay]
Hennessy set me free, I'm gettin' tips
I play a text to when my homies plan to dip
Call my baby you can find her in my crib
Drunk talk, sober truth that's some bullshit
Brain in my room call it homeschoolin'
Cool it's word to ice so I'm just chillin'
Might break down the purple shorty pass the lighter
You could light that shit yourself that definitely fits my criteria
I'm serious she looking' ravishing
She asked me 'bout my past why you even askin' me
I'm only focused on the future that's the truth
Here's another, fuck karma but I fuck with kama sutra
If I lose ya I'd be upset, head down zone out like this dubstep
Girl just trust me when I tell you I fuck with you and no other
Not your man I'm yo' lover
[Hook] x3
Yo turn my vocals down, turn my headphones up
Calm down and accept my arm around you
[Verse 3: Mid R Kay]
You don't look in this direction that's conflicting with my pride
I know you asked me if I had a girlfriend and I lied
Your first test I failed it but why wasn't my first test on how I make you smile
When I greeted you like "Hi, nice to meet you."
I love your eyes they really compliment your thighs
In the bed I would defeat you but that's not what's on my mind
Wonderin' your sign
As for me, I'm a cancer not compatible with gemini
Just my luck I spoke to quick that was yo' shit
Fuck, and a slight predicament 'cause you see right through me
Fuck it, I'll move on
Oovoo with a shorty got her takin' off her bra
So I guess I threw you off or I'm through with you is all
Could be cool with you that's fine
Throw you in a rhyme here and there
You thinkin' if it's 'bout you what we could amount you
I'd hoped to find out but look at you you're a mess
Stressed, calm down
Just feel the vapor through the breath of the blunt
Inhale the smoke and let's make love
This that calmin' type groove what a rare ass move
Pat myself on the back
Me or him you should choose
I would lose but I got the L
And I smoke the L
And I'm just feelin' right yeah
To the right
To the right
