The Spirit Is Free Lyrics by Mike Lindup

Changes

0

He's living in a land where hope
Is the only thing keeping the spirit afloat
And every night he prays to the Lord
To keep his fears at bay
She's living in a land where dreams
Are the only escape from the chains of reality
And every night she prays to the Lord
To wash her tears away
Where can hope be found
Not in the man who believes
That others are less than himself
Where can hope be found
Found in a million faces
They're talking to me
They're telling me please, be aware
The spirit is free
And destiny will flow our way
There is a man where the love burns
So bright in his heart
Others turn to him for their salvation
His time to come
Very soon he will be there
To wash their tears away
I'm here to tell you to open your heart
Open your heart to me
He's talking to me
He's telling me please, be aware
The spirit is free (free)
And destiny will flow our way
It'll flow our way
Ooh, where can hope be found
Still in the heart
That has been betrayed so many times
Where can hope be found
Found in a million voices
I'm here to tell you to open your heart
I've come to give you hope in your heart
I'm here to tell you to open your heart
Open your heart to me
They're talking to me
They're telling me please, be aware
The spirit is free (free)
And destiny will flow our way
They're talking to me
They're telling me please, be aware
The spirit is free (free)
And destiny will flow our way
They're talking to me
They're telling me please, be aware
The spirit is free (free)
And destiny will flow our way
It'll flow our way
Like I'm telling you today
The spirit is free
And destiny will flow our way
It'll flow our way, yeah
