This Year Lyrics by Miles Minnick

2020

[Intro: Miles Minnick]
(Yes God, I pray that You bless this song, bless the recording)
(Just have fun, and reach the world)
(By the end of this year, promise I'ma glow up)
(By the end of this year, promise I'ma blow up)
(By the end of this year, promise I'ma glow up)
[Verse 1: Miles Minnick]
Even when it's hard I put the work in
Don't know how to stop, I just keep workin'
I'm not tryna say that I deserve this
I'm just tryna walk up in my purpose, yeah
It's more than hype
There's gotta be more to life
Don't want no normal life
I gotta pray more precise
God my generation needs You
I pray I can be someone that You speak through
I pray when people see me, they see You
[Chorus: Miles Minnick]
I know that I said it back in 2016, back in 2017, back in 2018
This ain't 2019, this the year of my dream
Ears ain't heard, eyes have not seen
By the end of this year, promise I'ma glow up
By the end of this year, promise I'ma blow up
By the end of this year, promise I'ma go up
By the end of this year, I'ma blow up
By the end of this year, promise I'ma blow up
By the end of this year, promise I'ma glow up
By the end of this year, promise I'ma go up
By the end of this year, promise I'ma glow up
Yeah, yeah yeah
[Verse 2: Chastity]
By the end of this year, I'ma blow up
By the end of this year, I'ma glow up
'Cause I know the one that serve You a real one
And it's love for everybody, come and get some, yeah
More than hype
Addition to my life
I was walkin' dumb, seein' my vision without Christ
Then He pull up (Skrrt)
Two deep
Gave me new provisions
Lit a fire in my purpose
So now I'm out here winnin'
[Outro: Miles Minnick, Chastity, and Both]
(Eyes have not seen
Ears have not heard
The plans that's for me
I'ma blow up)
(But really I don't know what it is, it's just)
(It's something different about this year)
(I feel like this is the year we've been waiting for)
(Are you ready?)
(By the end of this year, promise I'ma glow up)
(By the end of this year, promise I'ma blow up)
(By the end of this year, promise I'ma go up)
(By the end of this year, I'ma blow up)
(By the end of this year, promise I'ma blow up)
(By the end of this year, promise I'ma glow up)
(By the end of this year, promise I'ma go up)
(By the end of this year, promise I'ma glow up)
(Yeah, yeah yeah)
