Loving Myself Lyrics by MKSM

2023

[Intro]
(I could spend more time on loving myself)
[Verse 1]
I tried to be the perfect guy
Blow myself a kiss goodbye
Faked a smile for a superficial high
All the double tapping on my phone
So I would never feel alone
On my own in my illusionary home
[Pre-Chorus]
Playing pretend makes me tired
Waiting for something to feel right
But there's one thing I haven't tried
How about, how about
[Chorus]
I could spend more time on loving myself
No need for explanations when I'm loving myself
Could be chasing dreams of somebody else
But I'd rather spend more time on loving myself
I could spend more time on loving myself
No need for explanations when I'm loving myself
Could be chasing dreams of somebody else
But I'd rather spend more time on loving myself
[Verse 2]
Hey, there's no need to be ashamed
It takes some time to feel this way
And that's okay, it doesn't have to be today
[Pre-Chorus]
Playing pretend makes me tired
Waiting for something to feel right
But there's one thing I haven't tried
How about, how about
[Chorus]
I could spend more time on loving myself
No need for explanations when I'm loving myself
Could be chasing dreams of somebody else
But I'd rather spend more time on loving myself
I could spend more time on loving myself
No need for explanations when I'm loving myself
Could be chasing dreams of somebody else
But I'd rather spend more time on loving myself
[Outro]
On loving myself
On loving my, loving my, on loving myself
On loving myself (On loving myself)
Loving myself
Loving myself, woo-ooh-ooh-ooh-ooh-ooh-ooh
Loving myself
