They danced and danced until they could not lift another paw nor foot
And after he did leave the tree and walked through snowy, whispering streets
He thought "Something is not quite so right... The trees are pointy and the snow is white. But why does everything keep talking? The mice, the trees."
Still, he kept walking
The graveyard - no longer a place of death, was now a hotel with breakfast and beds!
"Hey moon!" He said
"Why can't I forget? They're out of my world, but still in my head."
The moon said softly, "Look around you, and you might just learn a thing or two."
Then a stairway appeared from just thin air
Wondering where it could lead, he went upstairs
He entered a small room with toys and cars
A bed, a window and glowing stars
"I know this room!" He said to himself
Then the moon laughed so loud that he almost fell
And through the windows darkened clouds filled up the sky with rain so loud the cupboards and closets began to shake
Something that was inside them was now awake
Under the cupboards he tried to hide
But there was no escaping this strange, strange night
