Just Like Always Lyrics by Mr. Kelly

The First Volume

2018

Never f***** with me and they doubted
Even now I got hella haters
We coming out of New Orleans
That dog eat dog, it’s in our nature
We're hungry for it, we're starving
Tryna keep food on the dinner table
We started out from the bottom
Now you couldn't get up on my level with an elevator
Used to worry about when the note's due
Now we're tossing money like horseshoes
We're real you're fake
That's why we call y'all tofu
Say they run my city but I can out run 'em
Keep these dummies talking
You can call me Jeff Dunham
Tisk tisk and I can give a f*** about the critics
Remember when all of you second-guessed this
Now you wanna get up on the guest list
In this business you gotta want it
I cop the s*** cuz I want it
All my posters up like I'm wanted
While I'm posted up with your woman
I've been on me hustle all night and all day
Dem boy a gah drown dey try fi surf on our wave
Dem a talk dem s*** but me no hear what y'all say
Cause me know dey have nothing on me just like always
Homie just like always, just like always
I've been on my grind homie just like always
Bad mind dem a hating on me just like always
Me too busy counting money just like always
Homie just like always
Talking down when you way up
Busy stacking this paper
Me no have no time for no hater
That's why dem man gon say I'm
Bout to act like your back
When you're piggy backing these wack rappers
Ready to snap and I ain't
Blowing smoke like chimney snacks
I'm all about the dough boy gimme them racks
And if you threaten the pack
Then it's gimme the gat
Clickety clack I'll leave you dead in your tracks
(Blap!) With these riveting raps
Shitting on these n***** like they feeding me laxatives
Crickety crack kills so stop showing your a**
Snakes in the lawn, start mowing the grass
Talking all that s*** put a hole in your a**
I've been on me hustle all night and all day
Dem boy a gah drown dey try fi surf on our wave
Dem a talk dem s*** but me no hear what y'all say
Cuz me know dey have nothing on me just like always
Homie just like always, just like always
I've been on my grind homie just like always
Bad mind dem a hating on me just like always
Me too busy counting money just like always
Homie just like always
Never really was good enough
Never really was hood enough
Now that they see me shining
Motherfuckers wanna pull the plug
Go ahead motherf***** try to knock me down
When I get back up better back up
Get your back up, better strap up
Cuz you know I'm finna act up
Hold up lemme catch my breath
I ain't backing til mantles are plastered
With platinum plaques and the statues
Of gold gramophones
And my mattress is packed up with stacks
Upon stacks and an attractive young actress
Is giving me dome
You bastards will have to come strapped up
With excess of ammo
If you're coming after the throne
I deserve this shit, motherf***** you don't
I've been on me hustle all night and all day
Dem boy a gah drown dey try fi surf on our wave
Dem a talk dem s*** but me no hear what y'all say
Cuz me know dey have nothing on me just like always
Homie just like always, just like always
I've been on my grind homie just like always
Bad mind dem a hating on me just like always
Me too busy counting money just like always
Homie just like always
