Psalms 24 Lyrics by Mutabaruka

The Ultimate Collection

1995

This is Psalms 24 without apology (Zion)
Mutabaruka and Luciano, trust me (Zion)
The earth is the Lord’s, and the fullness thereof
And they that dwell therein
For he hath founded it upon the seas
And established it upon the floods
Who shall ascend into the hill of jah?
And who shall stand in his holy place?
He that hath clean hands, and a pure heart
Who hath not lifted up his soul unto vanity, nor sworn deceitfully
He shall receive the blessing from jah jah
And righteousness from the almighty of his salvation
This is the generation of them that seek him
That seek thy face, O Jacob. Selah
Lift up your heads, O ye gates
And be lifted up, ye everlasting doors
And the King of glory shall come in
Who is this King of glory? Emperor Haile Selassie
Jah strong and mighty
Jah mighty in battle
Lift up your heads, O ye gates
Even lift them up, ye everlasting doors
And the King of glory shall come in
Who is this King of glory? Emperor Haile Selassie
He is the King of glory
Jah Rastafari, he is the King of glory
Lift up your heads, O ye gates
Even lift them up, ye everlasting doors
And the King of glory shall come in
And now we ask again
Who is the King of glory?
Jah Rastafari Emperor Haile Selassie
He is the King of glory
Who is this King of glory?
Emperor Haile Selassie
Emperor of Ethiopia
King of kings, lord of lords
Conquering Lion of the tribe of Judah
Light of the world, Jah Rastafari
He is the King of glory
(Zion, Zion, Zion, Zion)
Yes we have to meet the king of Zion one day
I say who, who is the king?
I say who, I say who
