Our Girlfriend Lyrics by myclownshoes

Tantrum

2024

I went to a party on the upper west side
And her pink lipstick was a nice surprise
We got to talking I don’t really know why
God she’s so pretty I think I could die
Oh, you’re friends with Erica? She’s doing fine
She’s your girlfriend? I thought she was mine
Feeling stupid, didn’t see the signs
Whatever I’m gonna take her home tonight
We found her in the corner mackin’ on some butch
Caught her off her guard like its a fuckin’ putsch
Told her I’m gonna take our girlfriend home
And i’m electrified I feel it in my bones
‘Cause I came to drink and I came to dance
I really wish I knew about her in advance
She called my bluff I’m gonna give her a chance
Because the night never ever really goes to plan
Glad I finally got to meet our girlfriend
All the shit you said you never meant it
Come on baby you don’t have to pretend
All the places that you took her we went
Glad I finally got to meet our girlfriend
When were you thinking that she should move in
Wrote her number for me on her napkin
‘Cause I fell in love with her this weekend
Are you fucking crazy? Well I’m feeling fine
I’ve got 2 girlfriends and a glass of wine
She thinks I’m fucked up and I’ve crossed the line
‘Cause its all about her feelings and never about mine
We’ll stay out ’til it’s closing time
And then we’ll call a taxi and go back to mine
My roommates in for a big surprise
Because I’m gonna take her home tonight
