Trying is Being Ignored Lyrics by Nathan Spicer (AU)

VALENTINE

2018

[Verse 1]
Why is it that I feel so alone
But I still get your snaps on my phone
I shouldn’t feel unwanted for us breaking apart-
But its because I was the one for us to start
[Chorus]
Thinking about you maybe it's just a feeling-
But for a long time, I’ve been crying to my ceiling
To talk to you is heartbeats I can't afford
Just please don’t think that trying is being ignored
[Verse 2]
I don’t want you to think I’m that type of guy
But hidden meanings just won't get me to reply
How far apart we’ve changed and went through-
Everything I want I have yet I don’t have you
[Chorus]
Thinking about you maybe it's just a feeling-
But for a long time, I’ve been crying to my ceiling
To talk to you is heartbeats I can't afford
Just please don’t think that trying is being ignored
[Bridge]
Thinkin about you
Oh- thinkin about you
Thinkin about you
Oh- thinkin about you
[Chorus]
Thinking about you maybe it's just a feeling-
But for a long time, I’ve been crying to my ceiling
To talk to you is heartbeats I can't afford
Just please don’t think that trying is being ignored
