Money First Lyrics by Neo Pitso

The Neo Pitso EP

2017

These Niggas thinking that they know me
But we ain’t even homies
You probably think ‘bout the old me
Cos you ain’t e’en know me now, nuh
Nuh you ain’t e’en know me
Get the fuck out my face, get the fuck out my way I’m just focusing paper
Get the fuck out my face, get the fuck out my way I’m just focused on doe
Get the fuck out my face, get the fuck out my way I’m just focused on paper
I’m just focused on paper, I’m just focused on paper, I’m just focused on paper
Get the fuck out my mind, I ain’t gon’ be wasting no time
I had like 3 or 4 bitches that waiting in line, really I’m waiting for mine (ey)
Now they saying I’ve changed, ever since I got some change
But you’d do the same, if your homies turn out to be lames
Now I move a little different room full of suits and I fit right in
Still manoeuvre with the hood niggas get a bit of cake and we get slicing
I only trip if I got luggage in my motherfucken whip
And I walk with a limp, pocket heavy from the dollars that I get
In my city I’m a baad maan, no cape but a hero from Welkom
I just did a show in Melbourne and I’ma probably head to London
Had endorsement deals, meanwhile had to skip another meal
Just to save a bit of cash, how ironic that I put it in my wraps
Tell mama we ‘bout to be rich, tell mama we bout to be rich
I’m on stage in the VIP, now the whole club bout to get lit
See they loving me now, yeah they loving my style
The way these promoters and rappers approach me
Would make you believe that I’m wearing the crown
Graduated to the high life I’ma need a couple Grammies when the time right
Just to make up for the strife life and the days I used to wish upon the night light
I never thought I would make it really far by being alone
Even though that’s really what I was doing all along
You can catch me just lounging in VIP
I’m heating the city with no degrees
I ain’t gon’ be chasing these broads
I’m just chasing the money tree
I’ma do it my way
Dollars rising like the Joburg city crime rate
And I just want the power; once I get it I’ma never let it go (Mugabe)
As-Salaam Alaikum to all the paper I’m getting
You making a living I’m making a killing
I don’t want the fame if it don’t come with millions
They say I’m the one I think I believe them
I ain’t mistaken there ain’t a rapper down under that’s cakin’
Everyone claim that they king but they faking
I feel like Australia mine for the taking, I’ll take it, I’ll take it now
