Life Is an Experiment Lyrics by New Age Doom, Lee “Scratch” Perry

Lee “Scratch” Perry’s Guide to the Universe

2021

Be faithful
Be pure
Be clean
And listen to your dreams
Listen to your dreams!
Don’t be pushed by your problems
But led by your dreams
Be patient, be perfect
And be pure!
As molten silver and gold
If you don’t ASK, you won’t GET it, so ASK for it
If you don’t step forward, step forward
You’re always in the same place
So step forward and step other than same place
And step in space
And try to live with the human race!
Life is a experiment! The more you experiment
You make the world better for each other
You must live by faith, by faith, faith, faith, faith
And not by fear
Don’t live by fear
We know not the year
You don’t need know not the year
Don’t be pushed… by your problems
Be led… be LEAD by your dreams
If you don’t work, you won’t get it
And if you don’t step forward, you won’t have it
You’re always in the same place, running the same race
In the East! With the Beasts
Can’t have no Peace
LIFE IS AN EXPERIMENT!
THE MORE YOU EXPERIMENT, YOU MAKE A BETTER, BETTER MAN!
You make life by FAITH, faith, faith
Waiting on Heaven’s gate!
AND WITH NO FEAR!
Burst the wicked net
Conquer that there death
So death will not sting
Grave, grave! We’ll have victory
Misery? Will we die in strength
Stress? You give this stress
So I give you PEACE
