Momma Talks Lyrics by NFS Tyrone

0

[Intro]
I haven't been able to sing or write lately
No matter what I can do it feels like everyone hate me
My mother speaking against me I try to not let it faze me
But there's some things you can't ignore when your maker is crazy
I sit up late at night, writing these rhymes
Tryna pass time, to start a new life
To forget about my old one
And focus on omens
I go to church so I say Amen
Put on a show till the day ends
I wish my mom never dated
Never treatеd me gravely
I hate thе woman she is, that's not an opinion just saying
I'm here to say the facts that have not yet been stated
Sorry for the waiting
[Verse 1]
My mother doesn't deserve me
For all the times she left and desert me
Our well being she wasn't concerning
Threatened to kill and to hurt me
Surprised she even made it past thirty
The way she lived her life dirty
Pill poppin' narcissist drug addict and alcohol drinking
Really got me thinking
How come earlier on her parental rights were not taken?
It should leave you shaken
To envision all of the basics
Neglectful, distrustful, soul snaking, heart breaking and wasted
Abusive to power
Had her so floundered
Deep down inside was a coward
Big men had her cowered
Switched up bought her flowers
Come and go at all different hours
It was just so toxic and sour
Not your average pancake with flour
[Verse 2]
Why don't you want to see me do great?
Inside your mind contemplate
Of many ways to deflate
The life your son is building so he can do great
I guess your probably mad
At the fact that he'll do, something you never did
Graduate out of high school, and not be a fool
Grow up to be cool, enter the armed forces too
These choices don't concern you, because when they did
You were never around, or always on your damn phone
Two lives at home
Nice around the neighbors and strangers
Then get mean and turn slayer
But not talking queen, you and your mind was a dangerous pair
[Verse 3/ Outro]
Now think about this
A scenario switched
How would you feel if you took a walk in my shoes?
Too late to do that, it's already passed
Because one time you were a part of my past
Now finally at last
I'm out of reach you can't grab
I'm gonna grow up be a dad
Enlist in service as a young lad
Set up the life that I never had
Do to you as you told me
When back then you would get mad
Ignore just the same
Turn into the shame
And leave you in the past
