[Part I: Blue & Gold]
[Intro]
Feliz Season
Mic testing, mic testing
Let’s go
They ain’t ready for this
Timaru’s finest
Timaru’s flyest
Lil’ Krishie
[Verse]
Rise and shine, early morning
Feeling sleepy, yeah I'm yawning
But I still get out of bed, open up the curtains
I see the blue and gold, so iconic
Pull up at my school in the whip and park it (skrrt)
Waddle to the com then slip my bag off and plonk it
I spend the day with my bros like Johred, Noah, Sam and Kostas
Alex, Adam, Josh to Tyson, Eden Breen and Lachlan
Whether I’m on the court balling (I need a heat check)
Or on the pitch dishing off spin (spin it)
You dun know, you dun know (you dun know)
I rep the blue and gold, so iconic (for real)
Catching opportunities like I livе in the cordon
Got all these goals and missions in this minutе I’d like to conquer
No stalling, I wanna put my all in
But it ain’t as easy as it seems to pull it off yeah
So I don’t mind the odd break by the beach
Toes exposed in the heat getting sandy
Oh I love the sea and the lassi (sea)
I love blue and gold, so iconic
The sea’s glittering with the sunlight (light)
Grabbing takeaways ‘cause it lunchtime (time)
Today’s takeaway is step past the tough luck (luck)
And stay pumped up like my young blood
[Bridge]
(Aye young blood)
What gets you excited ‘bout life, man?
What’s the thing that brings out your smile, man?
(Aye young blood)
My life’s a movie, it’s barely started
But I’ve come across whole lotta plot twists
(Aye young blood)
Man I’m hotter than the tropics
Blue and gold, so iconic
(Aye young blood)
Running laps on the track like I’m Forrest
This bass is like my mic, when I’m done, I just drop it
[Part II: Light It Up]
[Intro]
Oh wait, I’m not actually done
Guess I still got sum’ in the tank huh
No problemo though ‘cause this is what I love
Let’s go
[Chorus]
It’s the season that gets you livened up
Flick the switch for your mind’s lil’ bulb and light it up
Turn it up (turn it up) ‘till it’s bright enough
And we ain’t dimming down ‘till the night is done
It’s the season that gets you livened up
Flick the switch for your mind’s lil’ bulb and light it up
Turn it up (turn it up) ‘till it’s bright enough
And we ain’t dimming down ‘till the night is done
[Verse]
So what gets you thrilled about life man?
What’s the thing that brings out your smile man?
Going with the flow, I don’t own a life plan
Exploring what’s in store, all the highs and lows that life has
As much as I hope not, I know everyone’s out to judge
But when it’s all said and done, I won’t have said more than I’ve done
I hear all your assumptions but I ain’t ever said nothing
It’s only when I ain’t hearing anything when I say something
To be honest, I ain't got the best communication
‘Cause my complex thought process is so sophisticated
Picking every loose end and tryna find an explanation
With the time that’s brewing, how many activities can I cater
Everything has its limits, but anything can be manipulated
Touchdown on the runway, the sun rays got me stimulated
I’ve been using my instincts rather than being calculated
It may pay off or it may not, that’s just the way it-
[Chorus]
It’s the season (it’s the season) that gets you livened up (livened up)
Flick the switch for your mind’s lil’ bulb and light it up (light it up)
Turn it up (turn it up) ‘till it’s bright enough (bright enough)
And we ain’t dimming down ‘till the night is done
It’s the season (it’s the season) that gets you livened up (livened up)
Flick the switch for your mind’s lil’ bulb and light it up (light it up)
Turn it up (turn it up) ‘till it’s bright enough (like a star)
And we ain’t dimming down ‘till the night is done
[Outro]
We hit the road again as the night arrives
Rounding up the city like rounding five to nine
It’s only us and only fun, yeah we rising high (high)
We hit the road again as the night arrives
Rounding up the city like rounding five to nine
It’s only us and only fun, yeah we rising high
It’s time to shine (it’s time to shine)
