But the engine gave out, I'm on the side of the road
I'm stranded in Toledo and the snow's coming down
I hate to call you from so close to home
Like I said in a while I don't know how much
Now it's just cold coffee in this waiting room alone
Whenever he says oh no we don't have enough
There's an old folk song on the station I found
It's familiar and clean and haunted and bright
And I'm singing goodbye to Toledo for now
On the way back to the reason I've been driving all night
Well the traveling is not the life I chose
