Seemed Like A Good Idea Lyrics by Oh Mercy

Privileged Woes

0

Reading science fiction ain't what it seems
Seems to reconsider some conscious dreams
A kid makes a promise to give what he's got
With his fingers crossed and his guts in a knot
A bad mother f**ker with a heart of gold
If you asked the guy back would he do what he's told
Like, don't forget your milk on your way back home
The feeling's getting heavy can you leave it alone?
This is my trial
Yeah it's mine
CHORUS
It seemed like a good idea at the time
It seemed like a good idea at the time
I swear, I didn't realize at the time
It seemed like a good idea
Like a good idea
I stared so hard, but things start to melt
That's questionable I know but still it's what I felt
I'll get my degree then I'm planning to flee
It's nothing I love
No it don't matter to me
But it's real
Because you can read it
CHORUS x2
