Saving up for a flight
But I’m drowning in something
Not sure if it’s my depression
Or the current state of this recession
The world keeps getting hotter
So my work keeps getting harder
But I can’t just leave there ain’t no charter
My phone is dead and I lost my charger
This poetry is my plight
Sad when I write and nobody wants to listen
I just spell out stories
Embrace emotions
Expel my worries
Erase false notions
People loose lives and families
Each of these things are casualties
Not happy where I am should go to a park
And sit and deal with my personal swing
Deal with my emotional swings

Where is this

I look forward to the ethereal plain
Where we don’t have to complain
Where the dead will live a life you cannot ever explain
Where distain, has no meaning
Where dirty water, corrupt food
Is not what we are eating
Where we eternal rest for the rest of existence
Existential crisis has no room where Christ is
Where I’ll eat eternal plates of rice
With my moms stew, it’s nice
Where my efforts suffice
I’ll be on earth but flying like kites
My soul; my body and spirit
My life force, will endure forever of course
Where I will learn of new things like I’m living in a course
The course of time
Where I won’t even rhyme
Where I will simply be, being human being
Being who I’m meant to be
Dreadlocks and tats
Eternal chats
No referral of the past
No acting
No cast
Playing with my cats
Learning untainted facts
Be outside
At side God
Nesting place
Endless plates
No debates
Perfect place
No interest rates
No real estates
Sweep me away
Ruach Hakodesh
I really need you, like a newborn, needs his rest
Where we wear it like a bracelet
I doubt I’ll actually face it
