Love Your Enemies Lyrics by Out of the Dust

Now More Than Ever

2019

[Verse 1: Christopher Teague]
Love's easy to say
When we think the same way, yeah
It's harder to choose
When we can't even agree what's true
[Pre-Chorus: Christopher Teague & Stephanie Teague]
Labels, identities and opinions too
Everyone's gotta pick a side
Tension is rising, I know you feel it too
But love is the way to stem the tide
[Chorus: Christopher Teague & Stephanie Teague]
What good does it do? Tell me (What good does it do?)
What good does it do? Tell me (What good does it do?)
If you only love (If you only love)
Those who love you
Yeah, what good does it do? Tell me (What good does it do?)
What good does it do? Yeah (What good does it do?)
'Cause sinners even do what you do
When you only love those who love you
Oh, love your enemies

[Verse 2: Christopher Teague, Christopher Teague & Stephanie Teague]
Well I've been a fool
And I think I need a breakthrough
I finally see
That's my brother staring back at me
[Pre-Chorus: Christopher Teague & Stephanie Teague]
Father forgive us we know not what we do
Ooo, we're blinded by our pride
Keep us from turning friends into enemies
Love is what opens our eyes
[Chorus: Christopher Teague & Stephanie Teague]
What good does it do? Oh, tell me (What good does it do?)
What good does it do? Tell me (What good does it do?)
If you only love (If you only love)
The ones who love you
Yeah, what good does it do? Tell me (What good does it do?)
What good does it do? Yeah (What good does it do?)
'Cause sinners even do what you do
When you only love those who love you
Oh, love your enemies
[Post-Chorus: Christopher Teague, Christopher Teague & Stephanie Teague]
Love, love, love your, enemies
Love, love, love your, enemies
Love, love, love your, enemies
[Interlude]
[Bridge: Christopher Teague & Stephanie Teague]
We're not just good or bad, black and white
Love expands our hearts and our minds
We're not just good or bad, black and white
Love expands our hearts and our minds
We're not just good or bad, black and white
Love expands our hearts and our minds
We're not just good or bad, black and white
Love expands our hearts and our minds
[Chorus: Christopher Teague & Stephanie Teague]
What good does it do? Oh, tell me (What good does it do?)
What good does it do? Tell me (What good does it do?)
If you only love (If you only love)
The ones who love you (What good does it do?)
Yeah, what good does it do? Oh, tell me (What good does it do?)
What good does it do? Yeah (What good does it do?)
'Cause sinners even do what you do
When you only love those who love you
Oh, love your enemies
[Post-Chorus: Christopher Teague, Christopher Teague & Stephanie Teague]
Love, love, love your, enemies
Love, love, love your, enemies
Love, love, love your, enemies
Love, love, love your, enemies
Love, love, love your, enemies
Love, love, love your, enemies
