He Made Woman For Man Lyrics by O.V. Wright

Treasured Moments

0

[Verse 1]
Every time I kiss a woman
I just sit and hold her lovin' hand
I thank the Lord up above
For making women for man
Ohh, everytime she grill me
Like only a sweet woman can
I think he knows I'm glad about it
That he suffered to make woman for a man
[Verse 2]
He didn't have to do it, but he did it
I thank the Lord today
Somebody to keep me company in the midnight hour
Somebody I can tell all my troubles to
He could've made another river
(So glad he made a woman)
He even could've made another sea
(So glad he made a woman)
Could've made another high mountain
(So glad he made a woman)
He even could've made another tree
[Verse 3]
But he knew I would be lonely
So he took a rib in his hand
He walked out and rolled up his grand, big sleeve
Said I believe I'll make woman for a man
Ohh, he didn't have to do it, but he did
You ought to help me thank the Lord today
Then you ought to be able to thank God today
He made something so sweet for us
Oh, every time I kiss her
I just hold her lovin' hand
Again, I get on my knees and I thank the Lord above
So thank you, Lord, for making woman for a man
[Verse 4]
Oh, he didn't have to do it, but he did
Again, I want to thank the Lord today
Somebody I can turn to at midnight hour
Somebody to tell me everything is alright
Somebody, somebody to put my lovin' arms around
Oh, I thank the Lord for making woman for me
He made everything sweeter
