Interlude Lyrics by palmTree (FRA)

Conversations - Single

2020

I promised myself not to get too emotional
Don’t get me wrong I know it’s practically impossible
But it really isn’t tho cuz we can do what we want as humans so it’s more like mission improbable
The goals I set can be seen as astronomical to most
But to me they seem attainable because the world works chronologically so it seems only fair that what I see I otta be, right?
Sorry for rushing
It’s just my mind is buzzing with thoughts
I wrote a track a couple different times and the first had this line in it
I really pushed to fit it in
Maybe I didn’t
Before I knew what I’d be I knew I’d be the first fan of me
And it stayed like that
I give you truth about my life knowing you won’t write back but it’s cool
I do this for me and you
You might have heard this from others but listen
It’s really a therapy though to you these words are given
I can say what I like without anybody judging
And lay it on wax before you knew it existed
That’s when I feel it
I wish I could translate it to you
Personally, I don’t know who you are
But if you’re listening to this I hope you think different
And no matter where you are I’m addressing this from the heart
You don’t deserve mischief
I do my best to relieve you of any stress for the couple minutes that you pay attention
And give you some wise words so you can break your ceiling
I may not help at all, don’t mean Imma stop
Why you think my flows get you in awe?
Cuz I can’t fail at this
It’s not even confidence
It’s really knowledge of what’s coming and, providence
And if this track don’t predict nothing
At least I’ll project something
Honestly it ain’t even about what I’m saying
At the end of the day they’re just sounds we call nouns and verbs and most generally words but, they don’t matter
They can be formed and molded into something that gone get you depressed
Same reason everybody mad at the press
We can choose to hear what we want but don’t try to listen to more than what’s fed
For what? Easy access?
It’s all good if you make your own opinions
Be the black sheep don’t be simple and plain
Everyone can have they’re own color, and nobody gotta complain
This is probably the track you learn the least in
But remember that I did tell you to listen
I didn’t only mean in this song or interlude
Between the lines or vines you get to choose
If I make sense
