Enemies Lyrics by Pete McAllen

I Hear Your Voice

2014

[Intro]
Whoa-oh-ohh, whoa-oh-oh-ohh, whoa-oh-oh-ohhh
[Verse 1]
In You Lord, I find my strength
A righteousness fixed on my chest
The belt of truth surrounds my waist
And tears down lies against my name
In Your power, I guard my mind
Take captive thoughts, the strong man bind
Salvations helmet firm secure
Alert, empowered, unshakable
[Chorus]
Whoa-oh-ohh, all my enemies surround
But I stand my ground
Filled with the Spirit of God
Whoa-oh-ohh, all my enemies surround
But I stand my ground
Filled with the Spirit of God
[Verse 2]
In You Lord the battle's won
Alone no more, Your peace has come
All tragedies and darkened words
Defeated by Your precious Son
With You Lord, I take the land
A shield named faith gripped to my hand
No fiery dart or evil plan
Can take apart Your sovereign plan!
Your sovereign plan
[Chorus]
Whoa-oh-ohh, all my enemies surround
But I stand my ground
Filled with the Spirit of God
Whoa-oh-ohh, all my enemies surround
But I stand my ground
Filled with the Spirit of God
[Post-Chorus]
Whoa-oh-ohh, whoa-oh-oh-ohh, whoa-oh-oh-ohhh
Whoa-oh-ohh, whoa-oh-oh-ohh, whoa-oh-oh-ohhh
[Chorus]
Whoa-oh-ohh, all my enemies surround
But I stand my ground
Filled with the Spirit of God
Whoa-oh-ohh, all my enemies surround
But I stand my ground
Filled with the Spirit of God
[Outro]
All my enemies surround
But I stand my ground
