Finally knew the real reason why
They say Zambians tend to have uneven eyes
Our young eyes are at odds with the frequent lies
The destitute and the wise's minds are institutionalized and I
Am just a Zambian dreaming but wake up from your dream Zambia
Quit sleeping on your own ambition and drive
Quit seeking just enough to survive
You'll never know if and how well you can swim in an ocean until you take a dive,
Peaceful elections are just an equal reflection of who we can be on the inside
My dream is to see my country and its people after 12th August, survive then thrive.
