Open Letter to Kanye West Lyrics by PhZD

2018

[VERSE1]
We knowing that you a don
Polo like Cameron
Came around smashing
Polarized fashion
Apple to icon
Waltzing like Disney
Nike to them stripes
Had every check feeling guilty
Artistical vision
Did you study at Julliard
College dropout
Did you know get there far
Probaly asked sway but he didn't have the answers
Same with Eminem but he didn’t have the questions
Now let me ask it
Are you the same ye?
That marched in the street with us
The same ye?
That had Jesus on the piece for us
The that exposed bush trying to leave on us
Are you the same ye?
I know people grow and change but
Questioning your ways
Are you still with us?
Cause let us know
The boy that cried trump
For the troll
[HOOK]
Run fast Kanye
Come back Kanye
Run fast
Run fast
Wake up Mr. West
That's my last request
Where ya at
Comeback
[VERSE2]
Used to be a leader
To the black community
Now you became our
Number one public enemy
No flavor flav
But compared to pootie tang
Your stories same
Remember lector corp
You ranaway to the hills
Callabas with Kardash
Thought it'd be a good move, after the crash
Saw what life was in the valley
Was it greener tho?
Was it scenic tho?
You split away from HOV
Did you mean it bro?
I just tell it how it is
Or how I see it tho
It’s all perception anyway
Most people say Yeezus is shit
To be honest man I love the shit
More beauty in the struggle
That's what Cole say
Look what came after
Was them new ye's
Gave people choice over old j's
But the way you talking now
They don't fit the same
Songs that's coming out
Don't feel the same
Like instead of trend setting
You pocket sitting
Got me feel like O'del
You need to move it different
Instead of politicking
BRIDGE
Do they puppet from the back
Are there no strings attached?
They don’t love
How we love
I’m just tryna figure out
What was said to you?
What could pander you?
How they turn the goat,to a sheep?
How you go from woke,to just sleep?
Mouth was sealed
Yet you fix it to speak
Hate
