So I left that meeting and I started to write this song right here
And I knew I wanted to do something different I knew I had to
Maybe get away from L.A
Get my mind back to what made me fall in love with music in the first place, you know

So I moved back to New Orleans, my hometown, and uh
Started to get back to myself again
And I decided I was gonna be myself
But when I was back in L.A., they'd say stuff like this
