Homemade Medicine Lyrics by Plantkid

Comet

2021

[Verse 1]
I don't like medicine, it makes me feel so weak
And I know I'm nothing special
But it feels like life is picking on me
And I'm crying in the sink
Over these little tablets that are white and pink
[Verse 2]
Get a big old pill today and shove it in my face
You know I'm feeling drowsy, feels like I'm running in place
How come nothing ever changed?
Doc, you said the pain would go away
But now it's too late
[Chorus]
But there's nothing that a little tea and honey can't fix
You said that I'd be better if I listened to this
I swear to you that I'll get to the bottom of this
But for now we've gotta settle for homemade medicine
[Verse 3]
My prescription showed up late today
And when it's time for me to clock in I've already got a headache
They say I'm a special case, won't stop looking at my face
How does it feel to know that you're just a number on their page?
[Chorus]
But there's nothing that a little tea and honey can't fix
You said that I'd be better if I listened to this
I swear to you that I'll get to the bottom of this
But for now we've gotta settle for homemade medicine
[Chorus]
But there's nothing that a little tea and honey can't fix
You said that I'd be better if I listened to this
I swear to you that I'll get to the bottom of this
But for now we've gotta settle for homemade medicine
