The Get Back Lyrics by Pook Paperz

Feel My Pain 2 (Hosted By Brickz)

0

[Hook: Pook Paperz]
See, the thing about life, gotta prepare to take some falls
Cuz, it ain't always gon' be easy, sometimes it's gon be hard
But, won't do kill you makes you strong
And everything that you go through, never ever resent that
Just learn from your mistakes, don't worry bout the set backs
Just focus on the get back
[Verse 1: Pook Paperz]
I never thought I'd see the inside of a cell again
Next thing I know, I turn around, I'm back in jail again
Fuck a text, I'm sittin' stressed, waiting on mail again
Banging chi-chi's, mixing (?)
I swear, jail like a nightmare that never ends
A place you never wanna go if you ain't never been
And, when I lost my freedom then, that's when it settled in
If I don't focus on this music, I ain't gon' never win
I let a lot of people down like my fans and all my supporters
My homies and my shorty, supporting my lil daughter
Not seeing her pretty face for some months, that shit was torture
See, now before a nigga move reckless, I'm moving cautious
Shout-out Shaka Johnson, yeah, that's my lawyer
The D.A. fought to keep me in cuffs, but he got them off me
We left the courtroom smiling, left him looking salty
Now, I'm back up in the mix, so you know I'm on some shit
[Hook: Pook Paperz]
See, the thing about life, gotta prepare to take some falls
Cuz, it ain't always gon' be easy, sometimes it's gon be hard
But, won't do kill you makes you strong
And everything that you go through, never ever resent that
Just learn from your mistakes, don't worry bout the set backs
Just focus on the get back
[Verse 2: Pook Paperz]
Came home, dropped that "fresh home freestyle', woke them up
Watching my likes, comments and views steady goin up
Had my phone ringin' off the hook, shit blowin up
Realest nigga in this game, boy, they know what's up
Small minor set backs, they tried to hold me up
But, now that pedal to the floor and ain't no slowin' up
Nah, nah, nigga ain't no slowin up
Until we pushin' foreigns through the hood when we're rollin' up
I'm street approved, cut different, there's no comparing
The streets respect nothin' but trill shit when they hear it
Just givin' you the real me, you hatin' if you don't feel me
Puttin' on for philly fore' one of these niggas kill me
Fore' one of these niggas try me, I'm hopin' these labels sign me
If not, I'll prolly end up a victim of my society
I'm done with these streets, I'm focused, that shit behind me
In the stu where you find me
Lettin' go all the pain that's inside of me
[Hook: Pook Paperz]
See, the thing about life, gotta prepare to take some falls
Cuz, it ain't always gon' be easy, sometimes it's gon be hard
But, won't do kill you makes you strong
And everything that you go through, never ever resent that
Just learn from your mistakes, don't worry bout the set backs
Just focus on the get back
[Talking: Pook Paperz]
See, in life, you gon' go through some things
Some ups, some downs, some wins, some losses
Sometimes you gon' fall
But, it ain't always about how hard you fall
It's about what you do to pick yourself up
The get back
