He's scared to tell his parents how he let it get this far

Finding every reason in the world that he can't do it
She's tryna reassure him
Told him that she loves him and his parents do

And the pressure's building up, he don't know how he can play it
So she's worried, don't know if he's committed

Then she goes and takes five tests for confirmation
And breaks down in tears, it's just another complication

Now let me switch the focus, while he's procrastinating
Unbeknown to him his girlfriend's pregnant with his baby
His mum has heard some rumours that he's got himself a lady
That ain't from the same community and now she's going crazy
So she confronts her son and asks "How could you shame me?

So he's conflicted, his mother or his missus?
And now she's mentioned suicide he doesn't wanna risk it
But he ain't got the heart to tell his girl about what happened
Or go against his parents, his problems overlapping
So now he's feeling trapped
On one hand, well he found himself the perfect woman
And now he's thinking things he didn't do and probably should've
Like he should've been more honest and not waste her time
I mean he knew his parents' stance, he could've saved some time
Now I'd like to say the story's got a happy ending
But feeling like a let down, decided he should end it
He took his own life that night
Left his girl, his parents and his child that night
