THE HUNT Lyrics by Public Theatre

Soulless And Friends

2022

She backed me up into a wall again
Her lips taste just like cinnamon
And it's true
I don't know about you
I'm pretty sure that I need her love
So strike me down if there's a god above
Cause with you
I don't care if that's true
And she said
She don't care about the hunt
Make it quick, make it blunt
Ya she's just in it for the blood
Ya okay okay
We don't care about the latter
Take your life cause it don't matter
Try to smile, it makes it better
Okay okay
At her heart she's an animal
Comes crashing through like a cannonball
Cause she's knows
That you'll never let go
Her tongue is forked and her teeth are sharp
So watch your back cause she'll eat your heart
And it shows
That you already know
She don't care about the hunt
Make it quick, make it blunt
Ya she's just in it for the blood
Ya okay okay
We don't care about the latter
Take your life cause it don't matter
Try to smile, it makes it better
Okay okay
Attention citizens
There is a heart breaker on the loose
Now, she should be viewed as armed and dangerous
Stay indoors at all costs
She does not care
I repeat
She does not care
About
The hunt
And she don't care about the hunt
Make it quick, make it blunt
Ya she's just in it for the blood
Ya okay okay
We don't care about the latter
Take your life cause it don't matter
Try to smile, it makes it better
Okay okay
