@thebackoftheparty Lyrics by push baby

woah

2019

[Intro]
When we found love at the back of the party
When we found love at the back of the party
[Verse 1]
I don't wanna be the one that says I told ya
But all of my friends, yeah, they're getting older
I don't wanna be the one who lets you down (when we found love)
One of those nights that you don't remember
Skipping through life like a broken record
I don't wanna be the one who lets you down
('Cos I'll let you down)
[Chorus]
When we found love at the back of the party
We got drunk and you told me you're sorry
We both knew what this was when you met me
We found, we found love at the-
[Verse 2]
And I don't have money but I am hyperactive
I can make you laugh and I'm half attractive
I don't wanna be the one who lets you down
('Cos I'll let you down)
And I don't even know what you came for
'Cos I've been in a bad place
I don't even know what you came for
What you came for, what you came for, 'cos
[Chorus]
When we found love at the back of the party
We got drunk and you told me you're sorry
We both knew what this was when you met me
Deep down we both knew you'd forget me
And I would forget you so instantly
We had fun in the make-believe
When we found love at the back of the party
We found, we found love at the-
When we found love at the back of the party
When we found love at the back of the party
When we found love, yeah
When we found love, yeah
[Bridge]
I don't care if you call after tonight
You were nothing and everything
You were loving and so cold
You was in a suit
I was in a dress
We both had our trainers on trying to deflect
From the fact that we wanted to impress
I wanted to dance you just wanted to have-
And I don't know what you came for
'Cos I've been in a bad place
I don't even know what you came for
What you came for, what you came for
[Chorus]
When we found love at the back of the party
We got drunk and you told me you're sorry
We both knew what this was when you met me
Deep down we both knew you'd forget me
And I would forget you so instantly
We had fun in the make-believe
When we found love at the back of the party
We found, we found love at the-
