For Myself Lyrics by Rachel Cousins

AURA

2022

[Verse]
Looking good but feeling better
If they chase me I say let them
Love can come and it can go
I still love myself I know
That's the reason it don't matter
[Pre-Chorus]
And you know I know I be stepping out
And you know I know that's what I been about
Love can come and it can go
I still love myself I know
That's the reason it don't matter
[Chorus]
In case you couldn't tell
I do I do
I do it for myself
I do I do
Cause I do me so well
I do I do
In case you couldn't tell
I'm doing me so well
I do it for myself
{Verse]
Not in need of your affection
Fell in love with my reflection
(Fell in lovе, fell in love, fell in lovе, fell in love)
Yes I left your text on read
Vibing by myself instead
Basking in my own attention
Yeah
[Pre-Chorus]
And you know I know I be stepping out
And you know I know that's what I been about
Love can come and it can go
I still got myself I know
Love to give myself attention
Baby yeah
[Chorus]
In case you couldn't tell
I do I do
I do it for myself
I do I do
Cause I do me so well
I do I do
In case you couldn't tell
I'm doing me so well
(Do it for, do it for myself)
[Bridge]
No I never had a problem being all alone
I never care what people have to say
When I go dancing on my own
My own
I do I do
I do
Baby
I do I do
I do, I do, I do
I do I do
Yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah
I do I do
[Chorus]
In case you couldn't tell
I do I do
I do it for myself
I do I do
Cause I do me so well
I do I do
In case you couldn't tell
I'm doing me so well
I do it for myself
