The Anthem Lyrics by Rap Tist

2023

CHORUS 1:
Ballers in God, ballers in God
Everything we do..
Do it all to the glory of God
I’m part of the kingdom squad (part of the kingdom squad)
Saving the souls, defending the faith, striking this word
Ballers in God !
We choose souls before goals
Serve Jesus cos He rose
Put God first in the highs and still trust Him in the lows
More than a player, I’m a Child of God
More than a player, I’m a Baller in God !
RAP TIST VERSE:
I belong to JESUS, really in the field I'm feeling like Kaka
Diligent-diligent can’t be a slacker (can’t be a slacker)
Play my position attacker
I’m a defender a tracker
Fight for my team and they fight for me
So if I fall I get backup
Lord, your word is a lamp to my feet you’re guiding my steps (YES)
Joshua 1 verse 3 my feet are blessed (uh)
I’m a kingdom ambassador , keys no coupon
King of the kings that’s who won
We don’t drop-top keep the roof on , Christ still saves like Buffon
Ima keep going (keep going, keep going)
Cos I know there’s a time and season
I do this for the glory of God, kingdom of God no treason
The word of God tells me who I am
I don’t really care what they say
Win or lose give glory to God
IN JESUS NAME I PLAY !
CHORUS 2:
Ballers in God, ballers in God
Everything we do..
Do it all to the glory of God
I’m part of the kingdom squad (part of the kingdom squad)
Saving the souls, defending the faith, striking this word
Ballers in God !
We choose souls before goals
Serve Jesus cos He rose
Put God first in the highs and still trust Him in the lows
More than a player, I’m a Child of God
More than a player, I’m a Baller in God !
DEE WITNESS VERSE:
When you see me step off the bench my performance flawless
Cos, I got my ears to the touchline taking heed to my managers orders
Yo
Ready for battle the Holy Spirit goes before us
Not only my shin-pads but I’ve got the armour of God like Jesus taught us
Last line of the defence the Holy Spirit He a sweeper
I don’t play in goal for my brother’s team but I’m my brothers’ keeper
Revolution coming live hear it coming through your speaker
King Jesus on the Throne commander of heavens armies He the leader
Like the twelfth man up in Anfield I never walk alone
Like city scoring from a set piece, He the Corner – Stones
Receive this Word and speak with Truth won’t stop till the seed is sown
Changing the landscape of the whole nation systems overthrown (Crash)
While I was stuck in reserves, I couldn’t make it to the squad
Fighting temptation near relegation Jesus gave me the nod
My time to shine my time for glory a chance to break them odds
Even if you don’t ball on the pitch, you can always ball in God
CHORUS 3:
Ballers in God, ballers in God
Everything we do..
Do it all to the glory of God
I’m part of the kingdom squad (part of the kingdom squad)
Saving the souls, defending the faith, striking this word
Ballers in God !
We choose souls before goals
Serve Jesus cos He rose
Put God first in the highs and still trust Him in the lows
More than a player, I’m a Child of God
More than a player, I’m a Baller in God !
