Tried To Love You Lyrics by RARIA

Boys Who Broke My Heart - EP

2021

[Verse 1]
Been here for a while now, wanna leave this party
It feels strange when you're not around, oh, it still hits heavy
I came here for you, I kinda hoped you'd be around, now I feel so stupid
If I called you now would you come and pick me up and we can listen to some music?
[Chorus]
Oh, it's gonna hurt, baby
Don't wanna see you loving someone else
'Cause you broke me in two
When I tried to love you
Yeah, I tried to love, tried to love
Tried to love, tried to love
Tried to love, like I tried to love you
Ooh
I tried to love, tried to love
Tried to love, tried to love
Tried to love like I tried to love you
[Verse 2]
It's 3 AM and I fell asleep next to someone I don't know
I should've left, yeah, I should've known I wasn't ready
Yeah, it's been months and I heard you're doing well, is it true you got a missus?
I drink this alcohol down 'cause your friends are all around and it's making me miss you
[Chorus]
It's gonna hurt, baby
Don't wanna see you loving someone else
'Cause you broke me in two
When I tried to love you
Yeah, I tried to love, tried to love
Tried to love, tried to love
Tried to love, like I tried to love you
Ooh
I tried to love, tried to love
Tried to love, tried to love
Tried to love like I tried to love you
[Bridge]
Do you ever think about me?
Or sometimes miss it when you're lonely?
Is she worth all the love that you let go to waste?
No, I don't wanna feel sober
'Cause you gave me no closure
So I'ma stay and keep drinking 'cause it numbs the pain
[Chorus]
'Cause I tried to love, tried to love
Tried to love, tried to love
Tried to love, like I tried to love you
No
'Cause I tried to love, tried to love
Tried to love, tried to love
Tried to love like I tried to love you
