And so when Mawe2 came to the studio
He was there to record "What Ever It Takes"
And he'd heard the beat and we just decided to all get on this track, you know
After a three-hour conversation again
So we spoke and we were all in the same environment and we wrote that track
It was also one of my calm tracks
When I just got into a vibe, just relaxing
Just me and music, just trying to write good songs
Especially when you're with Mawe2 on a track
Mawe2 is just one of those guys who'll just write what's real and what's true and what's deep
What's deep in his heart, and you just have to be in the same vibe
He's like one of those cats who'll just influence you to be in that space
No matter how hard you are, no matter how cheesy you are
