Pay close attention!
Pay close attention!
Can you hear the battle cry?
Can you feel the beat?
The unraveling of chains?
Can you hear it through the trees?
Like a whisper carried in the wind,
The rumbling from within.
Listen,
This is not a lesson its a sermon,
Not your usual classical spiritual,
Now where to begin?
I have faced tribulations,
That have beat me into submission,
And left me in a state of confusion,
A state where I lacked a vision,
A reason to strive towards a mission.
I have been crashed in thе jaws of rejection,
I have submittеd my conscience to my demons,
I lost control and bathed in the dirt of my failures,
On my quest, for the purity of love,
I devoured, deflowered many innocents,
To quenched my lust.
So I was cast aside,
Told to either abide by law or hide,
So now I was doomed to be wasted,
Labelled a poor investment,
So I turned my attention to the new testament,
To make sense of what this meant.
However, in the depth of my soul,
The voice of patience reminded me of the promise,
Written in every silver lining,
That everyone has their moment,
For I am the stone that the builder refused.
So there comes a time,
When everything has to be put on the line,
A time, where change is desired,
And you feel the dire need to take a chance.
For you and I are no beings to be beat down,
We are the rumble of a lion's roar,
The pride of a Spartan in war,
The wind that rattles through the jungle,
You have seen our lightning,
Can you handle our thunder?
For we are the coming storm.
Pulsing in our veins, the wild adrenaline,
Awaiting the urge for us to rise above self doubt,
It all starts with a first step,
A momentous shift from being static,
To a fast paced world of survival for the fittest.
It is a gruesome battle of
Unforgiving challenges,
Life shoving changes,
Tireless nights of mind digging,
To fuel the need to have an impact,
To find solutions to the troubles of the world,
That whisk joy from us all.
The battle against strife is the genesis of belief,
That shatters the façade of fear,
Revealing the rebel behind the mask.
This is no Vendetta,
We have no care for your attention,
We are on the path of immortalization,
For we came, we saw, now watch us conquer.
WE ARE THE REVOLUTION OF THIS REBELLION!!!!
