I Wanna Be A DJ Lyrics by Ren & Stimpy

1995

[Intro: Stimpy]
I was born in the back of a wooden radio
The humming of the tubes taught me how to purr
I loved the DJ’s voice and dreamed that I could be one
As I drifted off to sleep while mama licked my fur *licking noise*
[Chorus: Stimpy & Unnamed BG Singer]
I wanna be a DJ on the radio! (A DJ on the radio?)
I’d be the coolest cat in town when I did my show (A DJ on the radio!)
If you wanna hear a song, I’ll take your request!
But givin’ stuff away is what I like the best!
I wanna be a DJ on the radio (On the radio)
[Verse: Stimpy]
I’ll interview celebrities and then I’ll play their hits!
I’ll get to wear cool headsets and make you laugh when I do this!
[Chorus: Stimpy & Unnamed BG Singer]
I wanna be a DJ on the radio! (A DJ on the radio)
I’d be the coolest cat when I did-a my show! (A DJ on the radio!)
If you wanna hear a song, I’ll take your request!
But givin’ stuff away is what I like the best!
He wants to be a DJ (A DJ!)
On the radio (On the radio!)
[Verse: Stimpy]
I’d peek outside the window to report the latest weather
I would get fast breaking news and try to glue it back together!
[Chorus: Stimpy & Unnamed BG Singer]
Oh! I wanna be a DJ on the radio! (Yeah! A DJ on the radio!)
I’d be the coolest cat in town when I did my show (A DJ on the radio)
If you wanna hear a song, I’ll take your request!
But givin’ stuff away is what I like the best!
I wanna be a DJ! (A DJ)
On the radio! (On the radio)
[Verse: Stimpy]
My prizes will be different than others on the air!
Who gives CDS or tickets or cash - whatever you call?
Where else but here can anyone win.. A genuine autograph Stimpy Hairball!
(Stimpy Hairball? Oooo Wow!)
[Stimpy speaking]
Hello everybody out there in Radioland, This is DJ Stimpy!
Counting down the hit parade on K-DAZE Radio!
At the sound of the time.. The tone will be
Here’s the number one song- the cream of the crop, the top of the heap, the pick of the litter!
We’ll be right back after a word from our sponsor.. So don’t touch that dial!
[Verse: Stimpy]
It would give me so much joy to play my favorite song!
I’d play it over and over and over and over and over and over all day long! *woman screaming*
[Chorus: Stimpy & Unnamed BG Singer]
I wanna be a DJ on the radio! (A DJ on the radio)
I’d be the coolest cat when I did my show! (A radio DJ!)
If you wanna hear a song, I’ll take your request!
But givin’ stuff away is what I like the best!
I wanna be a DJ on the radio (On the radio)
[Outro: Stimpy]
I wanna Ren! I wanna!
I wanna, I wanna, I wanna, wanna, wanna be a DJ!
