My Ex’s Ex Lyrics by Revery

Prom Queen

2019

My ex's ex treats me better than my old lover
I must admit, what a great choice
He’s so much better than my old boys
Don't get me wrong, I don't usually get involved in
Love triangles or crime scenes
But in this case I’ll play it nasty
Now I see you looking confused
And I hope your best friends tell you how much I care
Bet you heard my grand news
But trust me when I say that your best friends might not be the best
(Talking trash) I don't usually get involved in
(Make it last) I'm so young I'd rather live free
It's so much better than those dumb boys
It's so much better than those dumb boys
It's another rumor patrol
All you kiddos do is talk shit
We're so much better than those dumb boys
We’re so much better than those dumb boys
And I learnt the hard way not to trust anyone I meet randomly
‘Cause once you turn you back they might start talking quietly
They’ll gather ‘round, pick a trait
Everybody wants a piece of cake
If you were me I bet you'd take the bait
Oh, don’t take this the wrong way
But I hope that life won't ever bring me back to you
Got a lot of things to say but I'll keep them to myself
‘Cause I want this song to be more radio friendly
(Talking trash) I don't usually get involved in
(Make it last) I’m so young I'd rather live free
It's so much better than those dumb boys
It's so much better than those dumb boys
It's another rumor patrol
All you kiddos do is talk shit
We're so much better than those dumb boys
We're so much better than those dumb boys
It's not that we're not forgiving
But we do know what's up
And we know who might go down next
It's not about taking measures
But we know that karma's gonna take care of shit
I don't usually get involved in
I'm so young, I'd rather live free
It's so much better than those dumb boys
So much better than those dumb boys
So much better than those dumb boys
So much better than those dumb boys
So much better than those dumb boys
So much better
