OG Lyrics by Rico Metelus

Metanoia

2014

[Rico Metelus]
Fill me up with your Overflowing Grace(4x)
One time for His Blood, two times for His Spirit
Three times for His overflowing grace that has no limits (2x)
[Verse 1: Rico Metelus]
Take a look at my past, can't forget where I came from
I was like that Nugget, can't lie, I was living lost son
Till He changed me, and made me hit that 360
Lord I was full of sin and rebellious, how could you deal with me
What makes us so special? You came down and took our burden
You filled with me with love, joy, peace, purpose
You took away all the pain, the pride, the lust, the hurting
God, this is Your show, I'm in the back moving the curtains
They say never say never, never thought Christ would be in my verses
17 years a slave, you set me free, so I gotta worship
I was in darkness, and my heart was cold like Freon
But now I live for the King to the maximum, no Nissan
His grace is an ocean, all you gotta do is dive in
Don't waste your life, don't die tryna make Curtis Jackson
Rico live for Christ now? Man, he a weirdo
We can't change the past, just let God be the hero
[Chorus]
(Demi Chic)
OG, Keep it OG, OG, Overflowed with Grace
Changed from the old me, let me reiterate
OG keep it OG (3x)
OG, Overflowed with Grace
(Rico Metelus)
Changed from the old me, they want me back like Ma$e
But I remain Holy, let me reiterate
OG keep it OG (3x)
Oh geez, Overflowed with Grace
[Verse 2: Rico Metelus]
I can't understand how a King would give His life
But I'm glad He paid it in full, no Mekhi Phiff
Had to kill myself, had to put my flesh in a hearse
Rico, what you doing putting hope in your verse?
You ain't never gonna blow, you ain't never gonna shine
But I'm rappin' for Him, it's cool, I don't really mind
Adam and Eve heard you coming, can't blame 'em for running like a track meet
I'm unworthy for your Love, I don't know why you spared me
I gave my life, so now it's God Over Everything
Girl you worth more than gold, make sure he gives you a wedding ring
I wanted to live large, and drink champagne on a beach
I thought about riding presidential, but in Christ man life is sweet
I'm out here casting nets, you could say I'm a fisher man
I don't gotta be Superman, cause my God is super, man
You ain't heard of Rico? You need a blues clue, heard he next up
I was living fairly odd, but did He save me? You betcha
[Chorus]
(Rico Metelus)
Fill me up with your Overflowing Grace(4x)
One time for His Blood, two times for His Spirit
Three times for His overflowing grace that has no limits (2x)
