Opening Salvo Lyrics by Ripped to Shreds

亂 (Luan)

2020

A warm summer's night in nineteen thirty seven
A missing japanese soldier set ablaze the heavens
Hundreds of stone lions silently standing guard
Straddling the Yongding river as enemies approach from afar
Conducting show of force, a private disappears
They demanded permission to search Wanping but the garrison refused
Blasts of hellish sound
As rifles open fire
No glory here to be found as tormented men expire
Japanese momentarily repulsed, but diesel engines begin to roar
Deathly shower of artillery shells
Grinding men into meat
Unending assault, walls blasted apart, we can only retreat
Abandoned to worms, rotting in an open grave
Death takes you by the hand, a companion most depraved
