Time Is Now Lyrics by Slaine

One Day

2019

[Verse 1] Slaine
Time moves fast, it don't slow
For nobody, not one of us
Just keeps passing, won’t go backwards
What's stood in front of us
Is a creation of the mind, just to sum it up
Visualization of divine, now the sun is up
Fear from the dumb deaf and blind, it can run amok
So you either falling down or you coming up
Now, take a look around
Breathe it in your lungs
Your feet are on the ground
Feel it in your gut... the bass, the drums
Listen to the sound
This is in the now
[Refrain]
You can live how you wish
But don't wish away your life holmes
Just remember this
The past is a myth
The future don’t exist
The present is a gift
The time is now
[Hook] Rite Hook
Don't hesitate no don't wait for nothing to come your way no
The time is now
Everybody get what is yours or get got, young man, yup
The time is now
Never let up, time is now
Never let up, time is now
Everybody get what is yours or get got, young man, yup
The time is now
[Verse 2] Slaine
I've been down that sinners road
But I survived those winters cold
My will is strong and my pen is bold
It's been that way since ten years old
I've been a crook
I've been a fool
I've been in love
And been hated too
I’ve been as high as I’ve been as low
I took my knocks, but I made it through
Y'all laid the price, I paid it twice
And I paid in blood
I took my time and I stayed precise
Now my day has come
I wrote the lyrics, Invoked the spirit so you may say that page is done
My rage and hunger, their days are numbered
But that’s just a war I waged and won
The time is now
[Hook] Rite Hook
Don't hesitate no don't wait for nothing to come your way no
The time is now
Everybody get what is yours or get got, young man, yup
The time is now
Never let up, time is now
Never let up, time is now
Everybody get what is yours or get got, young man, yup
The time is now
[Verse 3] Slaine
I know I don't have to be nothing that I’m not
If what I'm not, will get him dead
Will get him stabbed, will get him shot
Then get it fresh
Come get it hot
Fuck getting next
I got it now
I'm setting it off
I'm letting it off
I got the juice
My weapon is loud
Hey maybe you known him, maybe you seen him
Stay out of my lane when I start careening
Through darkest evening
With my posture leaning, they watch and scheme but this is Carpe diem
[Refrain]
You can live how you wish
But don't wish away your life holmes
Just remember this
The past is a myth
The future don't exist
The present is a gift
The time is now
[Hook] Rite Hook
Don't hesitate, no don't wait for nothing to come your way no
The time is now
Everybody get what is yours or get got, young man, yup
The time is now
Never let up, time is now
Never let up, time is now
Everybody get what is yours or get got, young man, yup
The time is now
