New Religion Lyrics by Ro James

ELDORADO

2016

[Verse 1]
She said, "Boy, you need Jesus."
I said, "Get on your knees."
That's just how the dice rolls
When you play this game with me
I done seen some things
That might test your faith
But I can't be the only one
In here that's lost his way
[Chorus]
I need a new religion
Girl, I have my reasons
Seems I have no self-control
The truth's I know I don't
So please forgive me
Oh oh ooh
[Verse 2]
She said, "You're kind of conceited."
You can bet I had that before
With this blood on the leaves, I need it
I'm a black man with some capital
Oh, watch me do what a man gon' do
Lose your mind when my hand's on you
Girl, you know temptation gets the best of me
[Chorus]
I need a new religion
Girl, I have my reasons
Seems I have no self-control
The truth's I know I don't
So please forgive me
I need a new religion
And girl I have my reasons
Even though I want it all
The truth is I need something to
Believe in
Oh ooh oh
[Bridge]
I can't help myself, girl, bring that pussy
I don't know how quite you do it to me
I can be the only one around you
If you look
Draw me in this ring of fire
[Chorus]
I need a new religion
Girl, I have my reasons
Seems I have no self-control
The truth's I know I don't
So please forgive me
I need a new religion
And girl I have my reasons
Even though I want it all
The truth is I need something to
Believe in
Oh ooh oh
